Final Dales Walk and a Motorway Service Station

Positively the last picture from Clapham - Alan Bennett's house:

On the way back we called in at Gloucester Services, as we usually do. It's a new take on an old idea and looks like something you'd find in Latvia or Scandinavia. Eco-friendliness and locally sourced produce is key, as well as value for money and quality (even the roof is grassed over):

Looks like a very interesting and attractive store my man, am just amazed that it is a motorway service station!

Locals visit it just as an attraction. It is rather special.

The northbound one has been open for over a year and they've just opened the southbound one.

Isn't there another one somewhere owned by the same people?

Yes, but it must be further north on the M6 than Lancaster, as I've never seen it.

I think Rog is referring to Tebay Services, which is in Cumbria. We stopped there last year; so much nicer than your average motorway services.
