Thank you. I thoroughly enjoyed the video and became so engrossed that I ducked down when going under a couple of those bridges! As Steve above some places looked impossibly narrow. Did you loose any paintwork ?
Our's was wider than a narrowboat - 8'6" Narrow & 45'0" long - although there were true narrows at 6' 10", but no longer than 57 feet. The gaps were about 6" either side.
The Ashford tunnel is the worst at 343m long and again 6" either side. The boat has special stainless steel protrusions on the accommodation to protect it fore and aft.

Are narrow boats not as narrow these days - some of those gaps/bends look impossibly tight?

The odd scrape, which cannot be avoided.
