After seeing the Amazon Fire TV Stick I installed for a neighbour, I decided to buy one myself and was waiting all day yesterday for it to be delivered. It finally arrived at 9pm - a bit too late to start playing with it seriously. Initial results were good, except I didn't seem able to log intthe other o my DropBox account for some reason. The good thing is that the voice search works on other apps, like BBC iPlayer and the other TV catch-up apps. The Android phone app is a bit quirky, in that the scroll finction can be a bit over-enthusiastic in one direction but not the other.
Apparently it's Amazon's fastest ever selling items.
I have to install Kodi on it today.
