My new book arrived on Monday. It's a must-have coffee table book and I'm scanning it for tips:
I think I'll go for the Josip Tito theme. Strangely, they generally tend to go for Ancien Régime glitter, but fake. Personal portraits are de rigueur.
Spotted this in a charity shop yesterday.
The last time I played a bugle I was aged 15. I then moved on to the Wellington drum and finally the base drum on parade on the last day of school when the base drummer was off sick. Brought back some wonderful memories of school. The mouthpiece, however, is very small and too close to the body of the instrument to get your mouth to it properly.
