The Nixie Tube Clock arrived from Ukraine yesterday.
Vladimir, the chap who sent it to me, lives in a place called Rivne, near the Belarus border (click to enlarge).
When we were communicating, he told me that the oil depot there was blown up by the Russians (or possibly the Belarussians).
Absolutely love it - as does Hay. The only issue is that the temperature sensor is a bit close to the circuit board, hence the temperature reading is some 4 degrees higher than the ambient temperature. It's not possible to recalibrate it, so I'll just have to make a mental adjustment.
I can highly recommend Vladimir.
