Neigh, Neigh, Thrice Neigh

Got an appointment later this afternoon to view this little beauty about 15 minutes away in Inglestone Common - a 3 horse job.

£14k asking price, which seems eminently reasonable for a 2000 Iveco with 53k on the clock. The owner wants a smaller one. The private plate isn't included in the sale...

The main concern is whether we can get it into our field, as it's a tight turn into a 10 foot wide gate, which could feasibly be widened. We do have another 12 foot gate, but it means driving over part of the garden.

Just my 2c,
Ours is based on Iveco Daily with luton, living & room for 3 horses
Rather than using Luton for bed we use inflatable mattress in horse comp at festivals
Be wary of buying one with tilt cab fixed (it was designed with tilt for access - can turn 30min job into 2 day marathon) & many mechanics will walk away...
Check dates on all tyres (in circle on side of tyre)they may have tread but don't do the miles in general so could be v old.
I'm sure you get how much more expensive things are for trucks vs cars but it still comes as a shock.
The plating (M.O.T) is very much more strict with no leeway.

Good Luck, there's nothing my wife enjoys more than driving round getting in everybody elses way in ours!

Looks like this one has the cab fixed yo the body. Just male sure that there is adequate engine access. Like our friend above says it can cause issues when working on the engine.
