Pembrokeshire

A couple of short videos of our weekend trip to Pembrokeshire.

The first full day we went from Freshwater East to Manorbier and had a look at Manorbier Castle, the birthplace of Gerald of Wales, a 12th Century social media influencer.

On the second day we went in the other direction toward Bosherston Lily Ponds. You'll see reference in this video to New Haven Beach - my mistake, it was Broad Haven Beach.

The campsite was on an area with no mobile data, so we (and others) were totally reliant on the site WiFi, which didn't stretch far from the entrance office. There was a constant gaggle of older people gathered around the office and we all joked that we weren't delving into our social media, but checking on our pensions.

Have you visited St.Govan's Chapel in the area? Built into the coastal rocks in the 6th century with additions in the 13th century. Magic spot and a recommended visit if in the area.
