I can't seem to understand the business model of Eastenders' Queen Vic pub.
Any pub has to provide restaurant facilities if it is to survive, but whenever I happen to channel surf and alight on Eastenders, there's not even a curly sandwich on display.

I believe that the pressure isn’t there for the Queen Vic pub as they have some sort of contract with the BBC for filming and it is quite lucrative. It’s perhaps a good job as I can’t think that many diners would want to be in a pub full of criminals and very disturbed and noisy people.
