I've never seen this before:
Apple blossom in October on an apple tree with miniature apples. It's a small tree which was planted late last year. Apparently it's more common in pear trees but it does happen with apples too. Usually it happens if there is a dry spell earlier in the year followed by a wet summer and early autumn, as has been the case this year.
