A Perfect Day

We put in at Coombe Martin yesterday and kayaked round to Watermouth, a distance of just short of 2 miles, but couldn't land due to the low tide and Watermouth being a very large mud bath at the time.

The great thing about coastal kayaking is that you see places you can't see if travelling by foot.

Stayed at an Earth House in Lee Bay, which is built into a hillside. Brilliant little place.

The day was rounded off with a scrumptious meal at The Rock Inn at Georgeham, gazing at Lee Bay at sunset and a musical evening at The Grampus pub accompanied by a coffee, a Laphroaig and Hay. Heaven!

A perfect end to a perfect day. Better than all this walking stuff Hay usually wants to do.
