Right to be Forgotten

Does the Right to be Forgotten judgement apply to what's in my memory? If not, then why single out Google?

I can see this one running and running, as well as a boom time ahead for lawyers.

So does this mean I have to destroy the pile of old newspapers and magazines in my garage just in case there's a story in there that someone thinks should be forgotten? Facts are facts, this is simply an attempt to hide an (inconvenient) truth IMO, the Google part is irrelevant.

I have no option but to agree. A cheat's charter.

Not necessarily because several years ago there was collection of Asses who posted up some malicious stuff about several friends of mine. It was tracked via Interpol eventually to a persona in the UK and British police declined to take action blaming lack of manpower. So now this EU judgement has been made google will have to act.

But there's already a law against libel so that's covered.

However, that said - the wrong post could be taken down, but Google could hold a cached copy, so I now see what the problem is.

...or rather, scurrilous post.
