LadyFi: Just deep-fried, no batter. No chips either.

Was Hay brave enough to try the scorpions ?

Everything looks so clean and tidy. I love the face mask on the chef - how many of us know places where we wish face masks would be worn ?

Kapgaf: The scorpions are reported as somewhat nutty flavoured - a bit like strong peanuts.

I like the idea of walking into a pub in China and saying "I'll 'ave a pint anna packet of salt 'n vinegar scorpions please".

I had to tick unfunny, Sir - I cannot believe they eat scorpions - Christ, you could only have found out how they tasted during a dire famine, surely! All our senses must keep us from the stingy tailed ones - It's only common sense! And eating them - Agggggggghhhhhhhhh! I'd have to be drugged - But being as it was China, perhaps they are?
