Our mail invariably comes bundled in an elastic band, which I place in a jar on a drawer.
Over time, you'd think the jar would overflow, especially as we have little use for them.
But no, the jar always seems to have the same number of elastic bands in it.
I'm wondering whether we have inadvertently signed up to an Elastic Band Non-Proliferation Treaty.
